Prospect directly participates in the development of our boards and we have taken a new direction that is dedicated to bring new innovations to the sport of snowboarding.

The Prospect Development Team started making boards back in '92 in So. Cal, literally out in the garage. Jamming out to Hammer with ice tips and baggy pants; we had the tools to get the job done and a few beers to keep us in the garage. It all started by selling boards in the parking lot of Mammoth Mountain. Today, Prospect is a new animal. It brings a new aura to snowboarding and with an ocean of experience to bring you the best boards. Our engineering departments along with a dedicated testing crew assures a great ride with durability to boot. Our science lab is constantly mixing new concoctions to create the next freak of nature. We have Tommy "The Machine" Chezchin test riding and developing our boards to a higher standard.

 

SuperBamboo Sidewalls

For the 2009/2010 season Prospect is bringing a sidewall and edge system that provides improved ride characteristics and durability. Our Bamboo sidewall, developed in the deepest recesses of our science labs, brings the board to life. Bamboo lines the sidewalls of the board; providing pop from the hefty flex and dampening from the natural structural makeup, this development is sure to provide a freak of nature on any slope.

SEAMLESS EDGE TECH

Also new is our seamless edge technology. With no breaks in the steel edge edge delams are history. In combination with our bamboo sidewall, it produces a bullet proof vest around the whole board.

Rubber Damps and Carbon Amps

We have placed carbon fiber and rubber stripping in strategic places for an unbelievable ride that saves you on big hits and pops you higher. Making you look better for the ladies than your dorky buddy on his poser stick. Our rubber dampening system combined with our sidewalls give you endless, catch free carves.

CloverWood

Our cores are light and made with aspen that is the stickiest of the sticky. Each laminate is carefully profiles for symmetrical flex so going switch feels is comfortable and friendly. Like Vincent Van Gogh, our cores are a trip.

Custom Epoxy Resin

The most crucial element of any board durability is the strength of our glue. We have formulated an epoxy that reduces the risk of delamination and maybe even HIV. Our resin is so strong, it is said it can kill a cheetah.
