The bare essentials to be driven...The Rat Rod, adopted from the hot rod car scene keeps an unfinished, bare essentials approach and creates a a piece of art that has punk, rockabilly, or greaser feel. The Prospect Rat Rod Classic Pintail Longboard uses simple black and red striping to put our conception of the Rat Rod culture into skateboarding. The Rat Rod Longboard uses a 46", 7 ply laminate. The 2 outer layers use a natural bamboo that is both simplistic and functional. This bamboo tiled laminate creates flex that creates speed much like a snowboard does in carving. The Rat Rod is sold as a complete deck with wheels, trucks, high quality abec 7 bearings, and hardware. Clear is included and already applied. Assembly is simple and only requires a phillips screw driver and a simple wrench. |
